Hexagon Hopscotch Single Layout

Here's a simple layout I worked on back in April....
I used a CTMH PML card as a layer...they have so many purposes..

Seems I love anything sparkly I decided to use the Teal glitter paper and cut around the Hopscotch Complements sticker to give it a pop of glitter....in my eyes there is never too much glitter on a page!

Supplies used are all CTMH:
Paper:  Smoothie & Lagoon CS, Hopscotch, Picture My Life Hopscotch Scrapbooking Program cards (4x6, 3x4), Teal Glitter Paper
Embellishment:  Hopscotch Assortment Flair & Complements Stickers, Flaxen thick twine
Other:  3D foam tape, Glue Dots, Corner Rounder, Hexagon Punch (SU)

This month we have a number of Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using various CTMH products to help you get in a mood for Easter & Spring.....

Don't you just love the new flare badges??

Oh! and to make the Complements cardstock sticker pop I added some foam squares underneath to give it dimension...

Below is the final layout with photos... I love how I split the water photo over two pages... it is something I don't normally do seems I try to squeeze or trim the photos down to fit the layout.

The photo below was taken down my studio/basement... the colouring does not do it justice...everything looks orange... I am so glad I waited to re-take the photo before posting on the blog-hop.

This photo was taken in natural daylight on my kitchen counter... it totally pops the colours perfectly... Where do you take your photos?

Close up of the glitter & bling my two favourite things ;)

Thank you so much for following along on our Blog Hop today! I hope you enjoyed all the lovely artwork... Now it’s time to head on over to The Scrap Zone Blog and see Julie's artwork! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas!

Mosaic Hopscotch Single Layout

It's been a while since I posted something to my blog/facebook... Why? Well... I managed to get a last minute vacation to get away from this winter wonderland..... Supposedly I picked a great week to get out of town seems Ottawa has had the longest & coldest February in 50+yrs (-25 with the windchill making it -34 and colder overnight........brrrr!!!)   So....before I left for the sun I managed to create a few pages using my favourite paper pack at the moment... Hopscotch.  Over the next few blog posts I will be sharing with you my creativity with this fun paper combo....

Here is my first page that I created at the end of January when I attended a Crop in Kars.   For this single layout I used a sketch so I could scrap outside my comfort zone.  I don't do a lot of single pages... it seems to limit me to one photo or lots of small ones...and if you know me... I take a lot of photos ;)

I love this Dr Seuss saying....
Today you are you,
That is truer than true.
there is no one alive
who is youer than you!!

I am surprised I use this Flaxen colour as the base colour for my layout... I think it turned out nice... plus the few touches of sparkle from the sequins and the glitter paper... love, love, love! how this turned out.

And finally a photo of my little cutie....I can't believe this was over 6yrs ago!

Supplies used are all CTMH:
Paper:  Flaxen & Glacier CS, Hopscotch Paper Packet, Picture My Life Hopscotch Scrapbooking Program cards (4x6, 3x4), Black & Grey Glitter Paper
Embellishment:  Hopscotch Assortment Flair &
Other:  3D foam tape, Liquid Glass, Mosaic Punch (SU), Sequins

Order now while supplies last!

Two Page Hopscotch Layout

One of newest items from CTMH is the Picture My Life simple scrapbooking cards.  I was sent some in my new consultant kit so I decided to try them out.  The great thing about them is it helps with sub-titles...and it gives you some page prompts/ideas...I'm awful at journaling...

I also tried using ink on scrapbook paper..... I was quite nervous seems if you make a mistake you have to stamp again or find a way to 'hide' or as we scrappers call it... embellish it ;)

Here is the final layout with photos...

Supplies used are all CTMH:
Paper:  Colonial White CS, Flaxen CS, Hopscotch
Stamps:  Rain or Shine D1634
Inks:  Glacier, Smoothie, Lagoon, Slate, Twlight
Embellishment:  Stuck on You Puffies, Hopscotch Assortment Flair & Complements Stickers, Flaxen thick twine
Other:  3D foam tape

Simple CTMH Hopscotch Layout

So... since I received my new demo kit a few weeks ago I have been super excited to 'play' with the new Hopscotch paper.   I just love, love, love this colour combo... Don't you?
This layout is a simple one... I just wanted to show off both sides of the beautiful paper....
In the past  I used to scrapbook pages with the photos I wanted to use first.  But I recently realised that I was getting annoyed I was never using my recent papers seems I was working on photos in age order for my kids.  Now I like the freedom of picking up a pretty paper set and using a sketch or Pinterest page I like and then finding the photos afterwards.   Plus I have started to use the CTMH 13x13 resealable bags to store the papers, stickers, embellishments & photos together.

I used a simple sketch I found in the Scrapbook & Cards today magazine - it's a great place to get some inspiration when your mind is fuzzy.

Sparkly puffies... I'm a sucker for anything with glitter..

Supplies used are all CTMH:
Paper:  Colonial White CS, Glacier CS, Hopscotch
Stamps:  Hopscotch Scrapbooking Workshop Stamp set D1638
Inks:  Glacier, Smoothie
Embellishment:  Stuck on You Puffies, Hopscotch Assortment Flair & Complements Stickers
Other:  3D foam tape, Spray Pen with Smoothie re-inker
