Some Kinda Wonderful Cards

As part of the swap with the consultants we had to create 2 cards or 3D items using the matching stamp sets & thin cuts.   I choose to do 2 cards... a 6x6 shaker card and a standard card.

I popped the fox from the card with a little foam tape to give it a nice dimension, plus I love the crisp look the thin lets give the fox....no fussy cutting for me!! Yeah!!!

Of course I used the shimmer pen to highlight the fox's hair line ;) It's not a Sue card otherwise....without a bit of bling/sparkle.

So here is the shaker card.... I created the shaker part using a 3x4 CTMH clear Memory protectors Flip Flap tucked in behind the solid Raspberry card stock.

Once again using the new 'Happy Birthday' thin let helped create the perfect window for the shaker card...I love that these are not joint together so you can move it anywhere on the card stock.

Finished it off with the slate polka dot ribbon <3 nbsp="" p="">

Thanks for looking...
Cheers Sue

Christmas White Pines - Crop challenge

While I was at the CTMH event back in November I was challenged at the crop to use some items provided in the CTMH goodie bag to make a layout.   I normally don't take part in these type of challenges because I usually have a goal to getting pages done that I have prepared for the crop time/event.   In this case I did not bring much seem I was teaching my class.

So... challenge accepted....
In the goodie bag was 2 PML cards... the gift & the merry christmas card.
At first when the PML cards were incorporated with CTMH I was hesitate to use them.   But now I just love the way the PML cards can act as a semi-title.

I decided to add some texture to this layout... I just love how the embossing folder gives the layout some depth... using a sanding block I think it makes it look like a woolly sweater :)

As you will probably notice... I rarely stamp on my scrapbook layouts... as I'm so worried about messing it up.  There is always 'Bling' though... it's a given for me...

In the centre of the layout is the Gold Fundamental Assortments heart (Z3105).

Just a sprinkle of Gold Embossing powder to give it a little more 'bling' to the page.

Supplies used are all CTMH:
Paper:  White Pines Paper, Colonial White, Chocolate, Cranberry, Fern Cardstock, PML White Pines Z3176
Stamps: Handwritten Print E1030
Embellishment: Ranger Princess Gold Embossing Powder Z2066,  Versamark Z891, Gold Fundamental Assortments Z3105, Gold Sequins Z2012, Sanding Kit Z1294, Gold shimmer trim Z1985, Embossing folder Chervon Z1925, Red Enamel Gems Z3090
Other:  3D foam tape

September Happy Scrappin Hearts Challenge

I have been working on some upcoming cards for a card buffet & scrapbooking class for November.    Firstly our CTMH upline Denise has set us a challenge each month to help build our business and share the love for CTMH... CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

The first challenge for August was to purchase a Instalife album...next we had to post a few pictures of us working our business and prepping for our classes/events.

Look at those inks... those are one of my favourite colour palettes... Glacier, Peacock, Whisper, Slate....I wonder what I could do with those colours???

I soooooooo love Georgie!!!!   Infact I love it so much I took part in a CTMH demo swap... each demo picked one of the new paper line and created a 2page layout & 3 cards..I'll post more shortly!!!

Using a small album is definitely a challenge for me.. I love working on 12x12. space..  3x3 is crazy small....  good thing I have my Canon Selphy Printer to print off my photos and shrink them.

More to come in October... watch this space!!!
Happy Scrapping!!!!

Cheers
