Kim Werner Color Inspiration #50

Ok... So a friend of mine asked me when I was going to start posting my card creations... and I realised I'm a little bit shy ;} no really..I am. Plus I just felt so overwhelmed with all the info/designs/cards out there. Anyway... a lovely new friend I met recently.... recommended doing the challenges.. So this last weekend I decided to commit myself into doing one. This is Kim Werners challenge....and my first entry.



BTW... You may have noticed I only used a little glitter... it was my first time ;} Wait till you see what I'm working on next ;}

Ok... so here's a creation I made last weekend... I like the end result. I originally made it with the intention of submitting it to KWerner #50 challenge... but I realised she wanted Red...and I used Rose Red. I liked it too much that I figured I would give it to someone shortly.

Creating a In Colours Markers

I found this crafty idea to turn a regular SU! marker into a In Colour Marker...Linkie....thought I'd share seems those In Colours are sooo nice and it's a shame that they'll change in July when the next catty comes out.

Wisdom & Fun rolled into one...

Hey folks,

So today I'm very excited to go to a fellow paper crafters studio.... for some long awaited wisdom, guidance and some good old fashioned paper,stamping fun. Hopefully after todays visit I will be creating/playing more than I have been. I suppose it's just so overwhelming at the moment... I want to do it all.

Some good news... I'll be making my final order today to SU! and among other goodies I'm ordering a Big Shot....so hopefully we can all play with it...and maybe I'll tease one or two of you to get one too!!

A little something I whipped up...

Yesterday I had to whip this card up within half an hour seems I was heading out to dinner with some soccer buddies. Anyway... I quickly used my online inspiration web site SCS....and whipped this little card together. It was for our old soccer coach and his missus... I'm quite proud of myself really seems I've been playing but not producing anything lately. It seems I need a pressure of something ;} Stamp Girl Stamp!

hehe... I thought I'd start with a shock value title.... no-one is reading me right now so it doesn't really matter. Anyway... I found these Punch Ideas on the SplitCoast Stampers Web site by someone under the name 'memory lane/Meredith Burnsed'.    Anyhow I thought I'd share them with my viewers. 

Who'd of thought you could create these crazy things from a SU punch. It definitely makes me want to buy more punches ;}

A little something for your taste buds....

So lately I've been really busy at home trying to "vamp up" my resume and prepare myself for another job... not as fun and creative as this one ;}  Saying that.... I've been so overwhelmed that I haven't managed to do any craft.... grr...   Anyway... I will try at least this week to play...seems I've volunteered myself to do a demo for 10 people at a BC fundraiser on May 2nd..ek!  And so far... I have nothing prepared.  

Anyway... Here's a scrapbook recipe page I did using all/most of the SAB freebies.   A lovely friend of mine had her baby shower a few weekends back and we presented them with a lovely scrapbook full of recipes everyone has committed to prepare when the little guy arrives in late May.

I used SAB stamps, ribbon & paper, Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, Rhinestone brad, Filigree designer brads, Snail, 2Way Glue Pen, Stampin Glitter Supernova Chocolate & Aqua, Scalloped Circle Punch, Scalloped Edge Punch, Schoolbook Serif Alphabet & finally the Stampin Emboss White powder with the Craft Whisper White Ink.

Organisation Crazy...

hello there,

So.. one of the first things I wanted to share with you was how I got my SU! stuff organised seems it can be overwhelming at times to keep the stuff looking neat..but also handy ;}  So recently I made a trip to my favourite home store Ikea!!!    I managed to pick up quite a lot of pretty things...my hubby was being very supportive that day.  I think it could be because he wants our basement to look "normal" again.   heheheh...

Anyways... here's my final product.  I wish I'd taken a before picture....because you would see the transformation.  Lovely isn't it.  I love just sitting in my spot... tidying up my stuff and thinking to myself what else I can label.... hehehe...   You maybe asking why the desk is facing against the back of our couch... well.. I'm sure most of you will sympathise I need to watch some tv... for inspiration.   Anyway... everything in the photo is from Ikea.. all the storage boxes...and red crates.  I did want some Ikea built in drawers but they only came in white which didn't go with my basement decor of red & dark brown.   

Sorry for not posting the other night... I had a friend who needed some advice at 11.45pm so she came before my blog posting.  I don't mind....seems I don't think anyone is reading my blogs yet ;}  is anyone out there listening to me??????   Helllo!!!!
